About Tote Box Washers

Multi – Stage

  • First Stage: Pre Rinse – pumped from third stage rinse tank – drained to Plant drain.
  • Second Stage: Wash – Pressurized high volume hot chemical. Wash-recycled through filter and steam heated tank.
  • Third Stage: Clean Rinse – Pressurized high volume Rinse – recycled through filter and cold water tank.
  • Fourth Stage: Sanitized – main pressure injection of chlorine up to 200 PPM and drain to plant.

Conveyor System:

  • Dual 2060 stainless steel conveyor chain run in nylon grooves. (Optional third length chain system)
  • SS drive shafts and sprockets.
  • Nylon flanged type sealed bearings.
  • Adjustable chain speed controller.
  • SS 304 square tubing and angle framework.
  • SS 11 and 16 gauge shrouding and sheet metal work.
  • Poly Neoprene curtains between stages and on each end.
  • Tension adjuster.
  • Adjustable guild rails for different size tote and tray.

Nozzle Manifold System:

  • All stainless steel nozzles and manifold piping.
  • SS adjustable angle ball-joint.
  • High Impact inner tote cleaning nozzle.
  • Easily adjustable to height of container for maximum impact.
  • Rugged access doors for easy maintenance.

Pumps Systems:

  • Industrial grade continuous duty.
  • Seal less, vertical pump designed for no maintenance.
  • Proven in pumping high volume high temperature chemicals and dirty fluids.
  • TEFC, 575 Volt, 3 Phase Motors.
  • Wash stage pump – 10 HP, 175 GPM, 70 PSI.
  • Clean rinse stage pump – 7.5 HP, 125 GPM, 70 PSI.

Tanks System

First Stage:

  • Drip Tray catches all sprayer debris and drained fitting to connect to plant drains.

Second Stage:

  • 175 Gallon SS insulated tank.
  • SS Steam heating manifold.
  • (Optional) 40 KW 600 volt electrically heated tank
  • Temperature controller turns on and off steam valve.
  • Temperature gauge.
  • Low water pump cut out.
  • Automatic refill float valve.
  • Large drain valve and sloped for fast and easy wash out.
  • Large rectangular filter basked to catch foreign material before being repumped to nozzles.
  • (Optional) P.H. controller, sensor and chemical pump to control and maintain chemical strength in tank.)

Third Stage:

  • 125 Gallon SS Tank
  • Large drain valve and sloped for fast and easy wash out.
  • Automatic refill float valve.
  • Low water pump cut out.
  • Large rectangular basket filter to catch foreign material before being pumped through nozzles.

Fourth Stage:

  • Drip tank catches all and drains to plant.
  • (Optional) Sanitizer recycle is available, although mostly not recommended, only for iodine base disinfectant.
  • (Optional ORP controller, sensor and chemical pump) To control and ensure sanitize strength.

Control Panel:

  • Control panel mounted to system.
  • Stainless Steel Nema 4 water tight.
  • Prewired to all components on system.
  • Complete with all necessary starters, overloads, fuses, control transformers, indicator lights and controls as required.
