Since there is no "one size fits all" solvent without unnecessary health risks, the eco-house solvent system comprises hypo-allergenic, odorless #125 neutralthin™ and #115 xtra mild citrus thinner with a light fragrance of food-grade orange oil. Both products are made up of highly purified, cosmetic-grade mineral oils, which are 100% volatile, archival, and free of aggressive aromatics and chlorinated hydrocarbons. The #915 natural orange terpene is the strongest of the three and capable of replacing turpentine, dissolving damar based mediums and crystals. All three can be used in range of artists’ tasks and techniques, from cleaning brushes, thinning oil paints, dissolving damar, cleaning wax or gum residues, etc. Both the #125 neutralthin™ & the #115 xtra mild citrus thinner have a flashpoint above 142°f , as well as zero aromatics, making it ideal for classroom and studio use.
